Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to provide scheduled clinic coverage and 24-hour call coverage at a facility in beautiful Oregon. This opportunity offers a blend of outpatient women’s health, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and hospital-based OB/GYN services.
With a consistent weekday clinic schedule and call responsibilities, this assignment is ideal for a physician looking to make a meaningful impact while experiencing all that Oregon has to offer. Not currently licensed in Oregon? We can help with the licensing process!
Assignment Details
• Start Date: September 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic + On Call
• Clinic Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Schedule Template: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM
• Call Coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
Clinic-Based OB/GYN Services
General Gynecologic Care
• Well-woman exams, Annual physical exams, Pap smears, Breast exams, Contraceptive services, Birth control counseling and prescriptions, IUD insertion and removal. Implantable contraceptives, including Nexplanon, Permanent sterilization counseling, Evaluation and treatment of irregular periods and other menstrual disorders, Endometriosis management and PCOS management
Infection Treatment
• Diagnosis and treatment of STIs and UTIs
• Treatment of vaginal infections, including bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections
Office Procedures
• LEEP
• Colposcopy
Prenatal Care
• Routine prenatal check-ups
• Clinic-based high-risk pregnancy management
• Prenatal screenings, including genetic testing and ultrasound
• Nutrition and lifestyle counseling
Menopause Management
• Hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
• Management of symptoms such as hot flashes and mood changes
Fertility Services
• Basic fertility evaluations
• Ovulation induction therapy
• Referrals to specialized fertility clinics as needed
Cancer Screening & Prevention
• Pelvic exams for cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancer screening
• HPV vaccination and counseling
• Referrals for genetic testing, including BRCA1/2 when appropriate
Hospital-Based OB/GYN Services
Labor & Delivery
• Vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, assisted deliveries, including forceps and vacuum
• Coordination of pain-management options, including epidural anesthesia
Postnatal Care
• Postpartum check-ups, Lactation support
• Postpartum depression screening and management
Advanced Gynecologic Procedures
• Minimally invasive surgery
• Laparoscopic procedures, including treatment of ovarian cysts and endometriosis
• Hysteroscopy, including management of fibroids and polyps, Uterine ablation
Additional Gynecologic Care
• Pelvic floor disorder management
• Uterine prolapse management
• Urinary incontinence treatment
• Pelvic pain management

High-Risk Pregnancy Management
• Hospital management of high-risk pregnancies as needed
