Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a Physician – OB/GYN to provide clinic-based and hospital-based coverage at a facility in Oregon. This assignment offers a balanced schedule that includes daytime clinic services, scheduled coverage, and 24-hour call responsibilities. Providers will support patients throughout the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Assignment Details
• Start Date: November 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage and on-call coverage required
• Schedule: Standard Monday–Friday schedule
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Shift Length: 8-hour clinical days
Practice Details
• Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Setting: Clinic-based and hospital-based OB/GYN services
• Patient Care: Comprehensive women’s health, prenatal, obstetric, gynecologic, and surgical care
Clinic-Based Services
• General gynecologic care and well-woman examinations
• Annual physicals, pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams
• Contraceptive counseling and management
• IUD insertion and removal
• Nexplanon placement and removal
• Permanent sterilization counseling
• Menstrual disorder evaluation and treatment
• Endometriosis and PCOS management
• Diagnosis and treatment of STIs, UTIs, bacterial vaginosis, and yeast infections
• LEEP and colposcopy procedures
• Routine and high-risk prenatal care
• Prenatal screenings, including genetic testing and ultrasound coordination
• Menopause care, including hormone replacement therapy
• Basic fertility evaluations and ovulation induction
• Gynecologic cancer screening and prevention
• HPV vaccination and counseling
Hospital-Based Services
• Labor and delivery
• Vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Assisted deliveries, including forceps and vacuum procedures
• Postpartum and postnatal care
• Lactation support
• Postpartum depression screening and management
• Minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures
• Hysteroscopy for fibroids and polyps
• Uterine ablation
• Pelvic floor disorder, pelvic pain, and urinary incontinence management
• Uterine prolapse treatment
• Hospital management of high-risk pregnancies, as needed
Requirements
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Oregon medical license
• Current credentials required for the assignment
• Recent experience providing both clinic-based and hospital-based OB/GYN care
