24hr in house call needed in Pittsburgh, PA
4-5 shifts per month
Open to PA, IMLC or candidates interested in picking up PA license
EMR: EPIC

*Is there a call room available for the locum to rest or sleep since this is 24/7 in house call? Yes
*What are the call responsibilities? The locum cover all patients, including other physicians’ patients, unassigned patients, and the OB Emergency Department
*What does 24-hour call and post-call the next day mean in practice? In house call and Off post call
*Deliveries per month the hospital handles- 90
*Is there backup call available if multiple patients require assistance simultaneously? Midwives
*NICU Level - 2
*Anesthesia coverage (is it 24/7 in-house or on-call?) 24/7 in house
*Availability of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians for referrals - Yes via Medcall
