Locums OB/Gyn position with easy access to Charleston, SC

Job description

Location: Conveniently located right off I-95 along the North Carolina/South Carolina border and a short drive to Florence, Charleston, Myrtle, and many other amazing, southern destinations.

Facility: A healthcare system based in South Carolina, known for its network of hospitals, medical centers, and services across the region.

Opportunity: Seeking a Board Certified OB/Gyn for locums call coverage

Assignment Details –

• Clinic coverage need only
• NO call and no weekend work involved
• Need is due to 2 of our providers going out on medical leave
• This is a very well-established practice, with 6 full time OBGYNS and 2 full time APPs (will temporarily drop down to 5 MDs and 1 APP during the time period in which we need locums)
• Locum will need to be comfortable seeing 30-35 patients a day in clinic
• Locum will also mainly see OB patients, with the exception of a few urgent gyn patients as they arise.
• Office hours are 8-5 Monday – Thursday and 8-12 on Friday
• EMR: EPIC

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
