The facility features a 15-bed department and operates as a Level 2 trauma center with a Level 3 pediatric designation, providing strong support for both providers and patients.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Laborist

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology laborist services with 5 patient encounters per shift
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Handle routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromotubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
• Laser certification required
• Must hold an active South Carolina medical license
• Board certification required with BLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days with expedite options available
