Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Needed in Brownsville, TX

End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled + Call
Schedule: 24 hour coverage, 12 hours restricted (onsite) and 12 hours nonrestricted (physicians will likely be called in during the night for deliveries)

Work Details:
· Patients per shift: +1 delivery per day
· Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.
· EMR: Meditech
· Beds in department: 214-bed acute-care hospital
· Skills required: primary duty will be covering the employed provider with send both OB deliveries and potentially scheduled surgeries and c-sections along with ED coverage.

Practice Setting:
• Inpatient

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License required: Texas
· DEA: Texas

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days, ASAP
