This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare provider for the Northeast Texas community, offering comprehensive women's health services. The facility features a 6-bed department with Level 3 trauma capabilities and maintains high standards of patient care and safety.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:
• Provide coverage once per month consisting of 3 days of 24-hour call shifts
• Work schedule: Friday 7am through Monday 7am
• Handle 0-4 patient encounters per shift in a 6-bed department
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with comprehensive delivery services
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal births and low forceps procedures
• Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Provide decision-making expertise for cesarean sections and VBAC procedures
• Conduct surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Perform major operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, and cystectomy
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Active Texas medical license required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
