Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for an exciting scheduled inpatient hospitalist opportunity at a well-established Texas facility. Enjoy a collaborative team environment, a predictable schedule with no traditional call, and the opportunity to focus entirely on inpatient women's health while practicing in a modern, high-volume Labor & Delivery program.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: September 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Inpatient Coverage
• Call: No Traditional Call
• Shift Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Monthly Commitment: 3–6 shifts per month
• Schedule: Standard block scheduling available

Work Details
• Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Practice Model: Dedicated OB Hospitalist Program
• EMR: Epic
• Annual Deliveries: Approximately 2,000
• Level III NICU
• Dedicated Labor & Delivery Suites
• 19 Private Labor & Delivery Rooms
• 34 Mother-Baby Recovery Rooms
• 24/7 Anesthesia Coverage
• Comprehensive Surgical Services
• No Outpatient Clinic Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities
• Partner with private OB physicians in a collaborative care model
• Manage OB triage and obstetrical emergencies
• Labor management and vaginal deliveries
• Perform Cesarean deliveries as needed
• Emergency Department OB consultations
• Surgical first assists
• Care for unassigned and emergent obstetrical patients
• Provide backup support for Certified Nurse Midwives serving as surgical first assists

Requirements
• Board-Certified OB/GYN
• Active Texas Medical License
• Active Texas DEA
• Recent inpatient obstetrical experience preferred
