Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Holiday call coverage from 12/24 at 7am through 12/28 at 7am - candidates must be available for the entire stint
• 2-4 patient encounters per shift within an 8-bed department
• Must hold an active Texas medical license
• Board certification required
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-45 days
• Manage low risk pregnancies and perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Conduct Level I/Screening (viability) OB ultrasounds
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Decision-making for c-sections required
• Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
• Perform surgical gynecology including laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures such as tubal ligation, LOA's, and chronal tubation
• Perform operative/major gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Nearest airports are DFW or Love Field SW
• Lodging recommendations include Hilton or local B&Bs on the square
