24-hour Call: 8 AM – 8 AM
12-hour Call Options: 8 AM – 8 PM or 8 PM – 8 AM
Call schedule and rotation vary based on coverage needs

Non-Trauma Center
Nursery Level I
Total beds: 7
EMR: Cerner Community Works
Onsite lab and ultrasound available
Clinic equipped with:
Colposcope
LEEP equipment
D&C capability
Standard GYN equipment
Clinical Environment
Current Practice Team:
1 Full-Time OB/GYN Physician
1 GYN Physician (No Call)
1 PRN Physician
4 Certified Nurse Midwives providing primary call support
Dedicated support staff:
Medical Assistant support in clinic
Triage nurse
Birth center nursing staff based on census
Patient Volume & Case Mix
Clinic volume: 14–16 scheduled patients/day
Practice Mix:
50% Low-risk pregnancies
50% High-risk pregnancies
60% Gynecology
C-Section Rate: 25%
Average nursery admissions: 1/day
GYN surgeries: 3–5 per week
Required Clinical Skills

Obstetrics:

Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management
Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
Level I/screening ultrasound

Labor & Delivery:

Routine vaginal deliveries
Low forceps delivery
C-section decision-making and delivery management
Complicated deliveries including:
Breech presentation
Multiple births
Abruptions
VBAC management
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology:

Office procedures:
IUD placement
Cystoscopy
Colposcopy
Cryosurgery
LEEP
Surgical gynecology:
Open procedures
Diagnostic laparoscopy
Tubal ligation
Lysis of adhesions
Chromotubation
Ectopic pregnancy management
Ovarian procedures and cystectomy
