Location: Chesapeake, VA

Coverage Details

Schedule:

Weekends: 24-hour call, Friday 7a – Monday 7a

Weekdays: Clinic 7a–4p with nightly call

Call Frequency: 2 weeks per month

Coverage Type: Clinic + Call

Assignment Type: Locum-to-Perm preferred, but open to locum only

Practice Details

No APP support

Bread-and-butter OBGYN practice

Must be able to perform C-sections; VBACs strongly preferred

Age group: Adults + infants

EMR: Epic


Requirements:

Board Certification: Required (ABOG)

License: Virginia required (willing to license)

DEA: Virginia DEA required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Skills: C-sections (required), VBAC (preferred)

Experience: No minimum years required

Background: Clean background required (dismissed cases acceptable, but name must clear)

Credentialing

60 days with active VA license & DEA

90 days if needing new license/DEA

Travel covered

• Ongoing assignment
• On Call Required
