OB/GYN Locums Opportunity in Virginia

Job description

Start Date: December 2025
Contract Length: 6 Months
Schedule: 8 (24-hour in-house call shifts) per month

Position Highlights

✅ Busy Practice – 70–75 deliveries & 20–25 non-OB surgeries monthly

✅ Resident Teaching – Expected to manage and work with residents

✅ Strong Team Support – 5 BC OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and a Certified Nurse Midwife

Work Details

Coverage: All OB services on Labor & Delivery + unassigned OB/GYN call for the hospital

Hospital: 146-bed acute-care medical center with Level II Nursery

Support Staff: Excellent nursing and physician team

EMR: EPIC

Procedures/Skills: OB/GYN core + minor GYN surgical procedures

Requirements

Board Certification: American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

License: Active Virginia license required

DEA: Required

Certifications Preferred: EFM, NRP, PALS

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years (5+ preferred)

Credentialing: 90–120 days
