A regional healthcare system in Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for locum coverage in a Labor & Delivery setting. The role includes 24-hour call coverage for OB patients along with GYN emergency department consults.

Work Environment & Schedule
• 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• March dates available
• Labor & Delivery setting with ~25–30 deliveries per month
• Coverage includes OB care and GYN ED consults
• Strong onsite support: RNs, anesthesia, pediatrics, lactation consultant, management
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia license
• BLS & ACLS required
• DEA required
• Case logs required
• Vaccinations required

• Low-Volume, Well-Supported L&D Unit - Enjoy a manageable pace with ~25–30 deliveries per month and strong onsite support including RNs, anesthesia, pediatrics, and lactation services.
• Simple 24-Hour Call Schedule - Straightforward 7a–7a call shifts with specific March dates, making it easy to plan around other commitments.
• Modern Systems & Efficient Workflow - Work with Epic EMR, established processes, and a collaborative team environment covering both OB care and GYN ED cases while on call.
