Physician - OBGYN VA

Job description

Coverage Details:
• Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts/shifts + call, etc): 24hr call on weekends, clinic during work week and call at night.
• Frequency of any Call needed: 2 weeks per month
• Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc): 7am Friday – through Monday 7am, also during the work weeks 7a-4p with nightly call.
• Ideally wants a locum-to-perm, but is willing to accept a locum.

Work Details:
• Support staff: no APP support
• Department Description: bread and butter OBGYN, must be able to perform C-sections, VBACs a huge plus
• Patient Volume: TBD
• Patient Age Group: adults and infants
• EMR/Documentation System: Epic

Requirements:
• Are Board Certifications Req’d?: BC in OBGYN
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: VA license required
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Specific Skills Req’d?: C-sections, VBACs a huge plus
• DEA Req’d?: VA required
• Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): not required
Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 60 days with VA license and DEA
