OBGYN Locum Opportunity – Virginia (In-House Call)

Job description

Top Highlights:

8 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month with scheduling flexibility

Work alongside a strong team of OB/GYNs, APPs, and midwife support

Opportunity Details:

Start Date: July 2026

Contract Length: 6 months

Schedule: 8 (24-hour) in-house call shifts per month

Ability to work 2 consecutive 24-hour shifts

Setting: Hospital + clinic (146-bed acute care facility)

EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope:

Full OB coverage including labor and delivery and unassigned call

Manage ~70–75 deliveries and 20–25 GYN surgeries per month

Minor GYN surgical procedures

Supervision and management of residents

Requirements:

Board Certified in OB/GYN

Active Virginia license required

DEA required

Preferred: EFM, NRP, PALS

Minimum 2–3 years experience (5+ preferred)

Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90–120 days. Name clear required.
