Locums OB Hospitalist Opportunity in Christiansburg, VA

Job description

***Looking for 4-8 24-hour in-house call shifts per month***

-Shift Details: 8 (24-hour in-house call shifts per month)
-Will allow 2 24-hour in-house call shifts in a row to be worked

Work Details:
-Support staff: 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs, 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and a Certified Nurse Midwife
-Call Coverage responsibilities: All OB services on labor and delivery, Unassigned OB GYN call for the hospital
-Department description: Practice averages 70-75 deliveries and 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month; this is not a slow practice.
-Will be expected to manage residents
-EMR: EPIC
-Hospital bed size: 146-bed acute-care medical center with excellent support staff and a medical staff of 280 physicians, representing a broad range of specialists, and a Level II Nursery.
-OB GYN core with minor GYN surgical

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
