Opportunity Details: OBGYN (Virginia)

Start: July 2026
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: Up to 8 (24-hour) in-house call shifts per month
Option to work 2 consecutive 24-hour shifts

Work Details:

Coverage includes all OB services on labor & delivery and unassigned OB/GYN call
Practice volume: ~70–75 deliveries and 20–25 GYN surgeries per month
Not a slow practice
Expected to manage residents
EMR: Epic
146-bed acute care hospital with Level II Nursery
Strong support staff including:
5 OB/GYNs
5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners
1 Certified Nurse Midwife

Requirements:

Board Certified (ABOG)
Active Virginia license required
DEA required
2–3+ years experience (5+ preferred)
Preferred certifications: EFM, NRP, PALS

Credentialing:

90–120 days
