Job Title: OB/GYN Locum Tenens – Virginia | 24hr Shifts + Low Volume

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for a locum tenens opportunity in Norton, Virginia. This role involves 24-hour in-house coverage supporting labor & delivery, managing unassigned OB/GYN call, and handling occasional GYN procedures. Location:

Work Environment & Schedule:
• 24-hour shifts (8a–8a)
• Approximately 1 week of coverage per month
• Family Birth Center with 3+ nurses per shift and dedicated unit leadership
• ~25–30 deliveries per month (low to moderate volume)
• On-unit OR for OB and GYN procedures
• Access to on-call specialists (general surgery, cardiology, etc.)
• EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia medical license
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• DEA required
• Clean malpractice/background history required
• Flu vaccination required
Credentialing:
• 30–60 days
