Join a collaborative Virginia hospital offering flexible OB Hospitalist coverage with manageable volume, strong clinical support, and excellent compensation. Providers have the option to work traditional 24-hour in-house shifts or combine clinic coverage with night beeper call for added flexibility.

Position Highlights
• 24-hour OB Hospitalist shifts (8a–8a)
• Option for clinic + night beeper call coverage
• Flexible scheduling — typically 1 week/month
• Low to moderate delivery volume (~25–30 deliveries/month)
• EPIC EMR
• OR located on unit
• Strong nursing and specialist support

Practice Setting
• Family Birth Center environment
• Average census of ~75 OB patients/month
• 3 nurses per shift + dedicated unit manager
• Access to on-call specialists including general surgery and cardiology
• Balanced mix of OB, light GYN, and occasional clinic coverage
• Occasional ER-related GYN procedures including D&C, miscarriage management, abnormal bleeding, and ablations

Compensation
• OB Hospitalist: $200–225/hr
• Clinic: $200/hr
• 24hr beeper call: $2,000/day
• Callback: $300/hr
• Travel covered including hotel, rental car, mileage, and tolls

Requirements
• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Active Virginia license
• BLS/ACLS
• DEA
• Clean malpractice/background history required
• Flu vaccine required

Credentialing
• Estimated 30–60 days
