Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:
• Coverage needed for physician on medical leave from May through June 11th
• Specific coverage dates include May 26-28, June 2-3, June 18-19, July 1-2, July 15-16, July 30-31, August 1-2, August 4-5, August 12-13, and August 18-19
• Practice setting includes both office and hospital/call coverage for OB-GYN services
• Office hours 8am-4pm with scheduled patients, plus 24-hour call coverage
• Call schedule managed through Perfect Serve with 1 in 4 call ratio
• Average 25-30 scheduled patients per day in office setting
• Work alongside 4 physicians and 5 midwives in collaborative team environment
• 3 exam rooms per provider with one-on-one clinical staff support (CMA, LPN, RN)
• Practice composition: 90% low risk pregnancy, 10% high risk pregnancy, 20% gynecology
• Onsite lab and ultrasound capabilities available
• Handle routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births
• Perform obstetrics procedures including FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, labor management
• Provide gynecology services including office procedures, surgical gynecology, and major operative cases
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia license required (or willing to obtain)
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Provider must be local - only mileage reimbursed
• NICU Level III facility with Level 2 trauma designation
• EMR system: EPC
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
