Highlights:
• Only 7 in-house 24 hour shifts per month
• Level III NICU with 24/7 in-house anesthesia support
• Low volume OB Hospitalist service with strong specialty backup available

OB Hospitalist Locums Opportunity – Arlington, VA

Start Date:
• August 2026

Schedule:
• 24 hour in-house shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• 7 shifts per month
• Providers cannot work two consecutive 24 hour in-house shifts

Practice Details:
• Approximately 4,500 births annually
• Approximately 375 deliveries per month
• OB Hospitalist volume averages 1–3 clinic deliveries per day plus occasional ED consults
• Coverage includes backup for unattended deliveries and OB emergencies
• Hospitalist only sees unassigned GYN patients in the ED when consulted

Support:
• In-house anesthesia coverage 24/7
• Level III NICU
• Surgical first assistants available
• Medical students, residents, nurses, and patient care directors onsite
• Specialty backup includes MIGS, Urogynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology

Procedures:
• General gynecologic surgery
• Obstetric procedures

Requirements:
• Board Certified OB/GYN preferred
• Comfortable with both obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• Experience in hospital based OB care preferred
