Clinicians will provide clinic-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) on an on-site basis, seeing approximately 20 patients per clinic session while managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed. Clinical responsibilities include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, suction D&Cs, and treatment of ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, and abnormal bleeding. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:4 rotation, with minimal expected callbacks. Support staff includes an OBHG hospitalist, surgical assistants, and 3 to 4 nurses per shift. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this position.
