OB Hospitalist | St. Joseph Medical Center | Tacoma, WA

Program Details

▪ Program Start Date: ASAP

▪ 12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24

▪ Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: No

▪ Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No

▪ Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No – usually provided by midwives, residents or group.

▪ First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes - FP residents

▪ Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes – not 1st line of BU

▪ Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: Yes

▪ Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
