Facility:
This regional medical center supports a growing women's health program across multiple care settings, including an outpatient clinic, hospital operating room, and ambulatory surgery center (ASC). Physicians will work alongside OB/GYNs, APPs, and certified nurse midwives, providing patient care, clinical consultation, and mentorship opportunities in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Long-term locum tenens assignment (12+ months) with an ASAP start date
- Support patient care across multiple settings including outpatient clinic, hospital OR, ASC, and backup hospital call coverage
- Providers must be able to cover at least two care settings; preference given to candidates who can cover all three
- Ideal schedule is full-time (five days per week, four weeks per month); minimum commitment of two weeks on/two weeks off is acceptable
- Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Must be able to transition between clinic and procedural responsibilities based on patient demand
- May be required to leave clinic duties for urgent hospital coverage when on backup call
- Board certification required with a minimum of three years post-training experience (or two years plus fellowship training)
- Active Washington state license or IMLC eligibility required
- DEA registration required
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Must practice independently and work collaboratively with APPs and midwives
- Required submission materials include current CV, explanation of all employment gaps, disclosure of any malpractice claims or settlements, and a completed OB/GYN Skills Checklist (must be attached prior to bid submission)
- Mutual 90-day cancellation clause required
- Required skills include: low and high risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasound performance and interpretation, routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
- Office/minor gynecology procedures required including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Surgical gynecology required including open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
