Job description

Position Highlights:
•Location: Baraboo, WI
•Start and End Date: December 2026 - December 2027
•Open Shifts:
12/7 7:00am – 12/14 7:00am
1/22 7:00am – 1/25 7:00am
•Schedule Details: (start/end times, days of the week, etc): 0700 – 0700; combination of weekdays and weekends
•Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts/shifts + call, etc): approximately 15-20 shifts per month, combo of weekdays and weekends, 24-hour shifts - at least 1 week stretch per month

Work Details:
•Support staff: CNM
•Department Description: hospital based OBGYN; primarily labor and delivery coverage
•Patient Volume: approx. 120 births per year
•EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
•Special Procedures/Unit Details: routine labor management, C-section, vaginal deliveries, postpartum rounding, emergency gynecologic consults as needed- no high-risk obstetrics. (Rural community hospital - No residents, no med students, no 24/7 anesthesia)

Requirements:
•Provider type (MD/DO or NP/PA): MD/DO
•Board Certifications Req’d: Required
•Fellowship Req’d: NA
•State License(s) Req’d: IMLC accepted
•Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS, ACLS, NRP
•Specific Skills Req’d: routine labor management, C-section, vaginal deliveries, postpartum rounding, emergency gynecologic consults as needed, though limited high-risk obstetrics.
•CSR Req’d: Y
•DEA Req’d: Y
•Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): 1-2 years preferred
•Any additional requirements/details to screen for: Please indicate if they would be willing to float to any other sites as needed: Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, Madison (BUSY)

•Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 60 days

• 24 hr on call
