Midwife Needed in NJ

Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Start: February

13 week assignment

3 shifts per week needed. Shifts are 12 hrs (7a-7p or 7p-7a)

• Support staff: Rn , patient care tech
• Department Description: Birth Center and the Labor and delivery unit
• Patient Volume: 18-20 for practice
• EMR/Documentation System: Paragon
• Are Board Certifications Req’d?: Yes
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): Yes BLS, ACLS, NRP are required
• NJ License
• 2. CDS and DEA certs
• 3. Midwifery cert through American Midwifery Certification Board be Board eligible
• 4. STABLE Program Certification preferred.
• 5. Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).I
• 6. BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Specific Skills Req’d?: comfortable with physiologic births
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Minimum Experience Req’d (# of years): min 1 year work exp
• Are vaccines mandatory?: yes
• Any additional requirements/details to screen for? No
