Lilac Health Asheville Birth and Wellness Center is an AABC-accredited, midwife-led facility located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Since opening in March 2023, we have been honored to serve the greater Asheville area with full-scope midwifery care rooted in evidence-based practices, respectful client relationships, and a commitment to safe, physiologic birth.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position providing comprehensive midwifery care in both clinic and on-call birth settings. The ideal candidate is experienced in community birth and passionate about working in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care (AP, IP, PP and newborn care), women’s health, and education
- Attend births in a freestanding birth center
- Participate in on-call rotation and attend approximately 2 clinic days per week, with a team of CNMs and Birth Assistants

Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Midwife licensure in North Carolina (or eligibility)
- 3+ years of midwifery experience (birth center or home birth experience strongly preferred)
- Current certifications in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
- Commitment to the Midwifery Model of Care and out-of-hospital birth
