CNM - Bellingham, WA - Long Term Contract

Job description

ASAP – End of May. Due to this start date, we are requiring all candidates to have a Washington license and a Washington DEA at the time of presentation.

Expected duration of assignment: 9 months

12-hour night shifts 3 times per week. We can offer blocked scheduling.

Type of privileges (clinic/hospital/both): Hospital

Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient or Both?: Inpatient

# of beds: 10 labor beds and 14 postpartum beds

Rounding, admissions, or none?: Both

Average patients per day: Average number of deliveries per 24 hours is 1-2

Required Procedures:

Standard delivery, C-section assist, managing any laboring patients, induction of labor's, triaging patients that may come into L&D, FSE placement, IUPC placement, laceration repair for grade 1 & 2 perineal lacerations.

Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs)

Applicant must provide documentation of provision of obstetrics and/or gynecology services as applicable representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months

Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable)

Certified Nurse Midwife and BLS
