This well-established medical center provides comprehensive gynecologic and surgical services across two locations in the greater Seattle metropolitan area, including a dedicated gynecologic oncology and pelvic surgery center in Seattle. Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Obstetrics/Gynecology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage for two overlapping maternity leaves, with full-time need running ASAP through April 2027
- Provider will begin at the Everett location through end of January 2027, then transition to the Swedish First Hill location in Seattle through April 2027
- Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00am - 5:00pm), Monday through Wednesday as operating days, Friday as clinic and admin day, with Thursdays off
- 6-12 patient encounters per shift across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Must be experienced in Gynecologic Surgery First Assisting - this is a required skill
- NP providers must hold RN First Assisting Certification (RNFA)
- Experience with robotic surgery, specifically the Da Vinci Surgical System, is required
- Must be experienced in standard GYN processes, procedures, and pelvic exams
- Surgeries will include GYN oncology procedures
- Active Washington State license or IMLC required
- Board Certified only - no board eligible candidates
- DEA required
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Clean file required - providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30-60 days
- Lodging budget provided at $3,600 per month, located between Everett and Downtown Seattle
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
