Job description

-Start Date: October
-Minimum 4 shifts per month, 12s or 24s

Job Details:
-Provide comprehensive, personalized care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum support
-Must be First Assist Trained and have active cases

Labor & Delivery:
-Monitoring fetal health and managing labor Sign up or sign in for contact information natural childbirth techniques (e.g., mobility, hydrotherapy).
-Managing pain, including epidurals or other medications.- Performing deliveries and, if necessary, medical Sign up or sign in for contact information & Newborn Care: Assessing recovery and offering lactation Sign up or sign in for contact information care for newborns.
-Hospital annual births:569
-24-hour in-house OB/GYN, 1-2 CNM on site together, Pediatric Hospitalist on site
-EMR-EPIC

Qualifications:
-Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum (2 yrs experience preferred)
-Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB/CNM practice
-Strong communication skills and intrapersonal skills
-Value patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic care approach
-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
-Active certification with AMCB
-Current RN and APRN license in TX
-Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation are preferred
