OB/GYN Physician Needed in Florida

Job description

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: As needed until permanent provider returns
Schedule: Approximately 8 in-house 24-hour call shifts/month, 7:00am–7:00am.

• Hospital-based OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery coverage
• Low patient volume, typically fewer than 5 patients/day
• CNMs handle first call with OB/GYN providing backup coverage
• All CNMs are certified surgical first assists
• Must be comfortable performing C-sections and collaborating with CNMs
• 331-bed hospital
• Minimum 2 years of recent full-scope OB/GYN experience required
• Meditech EMR

Active Florida License & Florida DEA Required

Board Certification in OB/GYN Required

Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency privileges available
