📋 Coverage Details
🟢 Coverage Type: 24-hour beeper call
🟢 Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
🟢 Dates Needed: Vacation coverage; ongoing coverage once or twice per quarter
🟢 Coverage Model: Solo coverage
🟢 Setting: Hospital-based OB coverage only (no clinic)
🟢 Support: Efficient, experienced OB team with strong C-section support

🏥 Clinical Scope
The locum provider will manage routine and emergent OB cases, including:

✔ Vaginal deliveries
✔ Cesarean sections
✔ OB call coverage for planned births and walk-in presentations

🔹 High-Risk OB:
High-risk cases are managed onsite when needed. Staff providers proactively schedule vacations around known high-risk deliveries, and no scheduled high-risk cases are expected during locum coverage dates.

📊 Volume Expectations
🟢 Monthly Delivery Volume:
• October 2025 – 30 births
• November 2025 – 21 births
• December 2025 – 29 births
• January 2026 – 33 births
🟢 Volume varies depending on planned births and unscheduled walk-ins
🟢 Case Mix: Combination of vaginal deliveries and C-sections

📞 Call Expectations
🟢 Callback frequency varies based on delivery volume
🟢 Provider should be comfortable responding to unscheduled OB presentations
🟢 No expectation of managing scheduled high-risk cases during coverage dates

Requirements:
✔ Active Indiana medical license
✔ Indiana CSR & DEA
✔ Quick application completion
✔ Clean file (limited malpractice background acceptable)
🟢 Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN
🟢 Comfortable providing independent, solo OB call coverage
🟢 Confident with both vaginal deliveries and C-sections
🟢 Flexible and reliable for short-notice coverage needs
