Locum Tenens – Physician – Hospitalist (OB)
Location: Muskegon, MI

Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts, starting 15 minutes early at 6:45 AM

Position Details:
Patient Population: Obstetrics (Level 2 Nursery / Level 2 NICU)
Setting: Hospital-based

Responsibilities:
Cover scheduled OB hospitalist shifts (as listed below)
Collaborate with in-house neonatologist for deliveries ≥32 weeks
Supervise residents
Use Epic EMR
Work with onsite lab and ultrasound
Required Procedures: Deliveries (approx. 5-10 per 24-hour shift)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: No midwives; residents present; APPs not required
Days Per Month: As needed (sporadic coverage)
On-Call/Weekends: In-house call; weekends as needed

Open Dates (Required Coverage):
November 27, 28, 29
December 24, 29, 31
Ongoing dates TBD (as-needed coverage)

Submission Requirements:
Board Certified OB/GYN – REQUIRED
MI Medical License – REQUIRED
At least 2-3 years of experience – REQUIRED
ACLS, BLS, NRP – REQUIRED
Must be able to cover listed dates – REQUIRED

Additional Information:
Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
Facility does approx. 1,600–2,000 deliveries per year
