Facility in Dayton, OH seeking OB Hospitalist locums coverage Rates: $325/hr Opportunity Highlights Flexible Part-Time Schedule: Join our nocturnal team on specific dates, providing coverage from 7 PM - 7 AM. Shifts are needed for August, September, and October. Please specify which dates you can cover in your presentation. Collaborative Environment: Work alongside certified nurse midwives (CNMs) and a supportive team of OB/GYNs. This position involves overseeing CNMs and providing backup support for four private practice groups. Diverse Responsibilities: Manage labor and delivery, triage, antepartum, postpartum care, and handle an average of 45 deliveries per month. No GYN Call: This position is strictly focused on obstetrics. There are no GYN call responsibilities. EMR System: Utilize EPIC for charting and patient management. Quick Privileging: The site can grant Emergency Privileges, with full privileging taking approximately 60 days. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric care during the night shift, including triage, labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care. Collaborate with and oversee certified nurse midwives (CNMs) who provide 24/7 on-call support for two of the private practices. Provide backup OB on-call support for four private practice groups. Ensure excellent patient care and safety during labor and delivery, adhering to established protocols. Provider Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: Board Certified. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience. Licensure: Active Ohio State License is required to apply. Please note that an IMLC will not be accepted.
