Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Practice Setting: Inpatient

Work Details:

Active management and awareness of all patients on L&D, antepartum, postpartum, and OBED units
Evaluate and manage all unassigned obstetrical and gynecology patients
Manage unassigned obstetrical patients from admission through discharge
Attend deliveries when community physicians are unavailable
Respond to obstetrical emergencies until the primary physician assumes care
Accept and coordinate transfers of acute and critically ill OB/GYN patients
Manage and deliver MFM patients as clinically indicated
Assist with complicated deliveries, including TOLAC management
Provide obstetrical consultations throughout the hospital
Consult and provide surgical management for unassigned gynecology patients

Requirements:

State License: Active Texas license required
Board Certification: Required
Experience: Minimum 5 years of OB experience required
