OB/GYN Physician Needed in Texas

Job description

Coverage Dates: December 24–28, 2026
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call from December 24 at 7:00am through December 28 at 7:00am. Provider must be available for the entire coverage period.

• Hospital-based OB/GYN coverage at a Level IV Trauma facility
• Approximately 2–4 patients per shift with 2–4 admissions
• Average 5–7 phone consults and an 80% callback rate
• 30-minute call response time
• Approximately 630 deliveries annually
• Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, breech and complicated deliveries
• Surgical Gynecology including laparoscopic and major operative procedures
• Support from 3–4 RNs
• Athena/Medhost EMR

Active Texas License Required

Board Certified OB/GYN; BLS & NRP Required

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30–45 days; temporary privileges available
