We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for a well-structured locum tenens opportunity in coastal Virginia. This role offers consistent scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position if desired.

POSITION DETAILS
Start Date: March 13, 2026
Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
Schedule Structure:
Weekends - 24-hour call coverage from Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
Weekdays - Clinic hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with nightly call
Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks per month
Practice Setting: Mother/Baby Couplets & Nursery in an acute care hospital

COMPENSATION
Weekday clinic: $170/hr
Weeknight call: $470/night
Weekend call: $2000/24hr
Call back: $270/hr
All travel expenses covered (airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage)

CLINICAL SCOPE
Bread-and-butter OB/GYN practice
C-sections required
VBAC experience strongly preferred
Adult and infant patient population
No APP support

REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Active Virginia medical license
Virginia DEA
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Epic EMR experience required
Clean background required (dismissed cases acceptable)

CREDENTIALING
Estimated 60-day credentialing timeframe with active VA license and DEA
