OB/GYN Physician Needed in Virginia

Job description

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 9:00am–9:00am. Primarily unrestricted call with occasional inpatient Laborist coverage as needed.

• Inpatient OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery coverage
• Approximately 5 callbacks on weeknights and 4 weekend admissions
• Procedures include vaginal/C-section deliveries, circumcisions, hysteroscopy, D&C, hysterectomy, and ovarian cystectomy
• May occasionally provide restricted inpatient Laborist coverage with backup OB/GYN support
• Midwife support and OB Hospitalist coverage available
• 2 Labor & Delivery operating rooms
• Epic EMR

Current Coverage Dates:
• October 12, 15, 20, 22–25, 28 & 30
• November 3 & 5
• Additional availability welcomed

Active Virginia License & OB/GYN Board Certification Required

Credentialing Timeframe: TBD
