Occ Med Coverage Needed in Southern Michigan

Job description

Assignment: 10/5/2026–11/20/2026 (7 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Setting: Occupational/Employee Health clinic at a meat-packing plant
Patient population: Adults; up to ~16 patients/day
EMR: OHM (client-owned occupational health platform)
Role: Evaluate and treat work-related injuries/illnesses, manage workers’ comp cases, work restrictions/RTW, diagnostics, medications, and referrals
Procedures/skills: Joint/tendon/bursa injections & aspirations, splinting, suturing/stapling, suture/staple removal, vaccinations, PFT interpretation, DOT physicals

Requirements:
Board-certified NP or PA
Active Michigan license in hand
DEA
BLS
DOT/FMCSA certification
Occupational/MSK and workers’ compensation experience
Support: Occupational Health providers and clinical staff
Credentialing: ~1 week
Coverage: Full-time for entire assignment
