Position Overview
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an Occupational Health opportunity supporting employee wellness and pre-employment medical evaluations for New York State agencies and affiliated organizations. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule in a structured clinical environment focused on workforce health and regulatory compliance.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
8-hour day shifts
No call required

Practice Setting

Occupational/Employee Health Services
Outpatient clinical setting
Adult employee population

Clinical Responsibilities

Conduct pre-employment, occupational health, and fitness-for-duty examinations
Evaluate candidates for New York State civil service and partnering agencies
Review respirator mask questionnaires and complete clearance documentation
Review audiometric testing results and prepare employee reports
Assist with diagnostic testing including:
Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Pulmonary function testing
Provide employee immunizations including:
Hepatitis vaccines
Rabies vaccines
Influenza vaccines
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing related to occupational health concerns

Requirements

Active New York State RN license required
Certification by the New York State Education Department as a Nurse Practitioner required
Occupational health or employee health experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills required
