Physician for Physical Therapy Evaluations / Cleveland, OH

Job description

Locums, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Physician in the Cleveland, OH area to provide evaluations for soft-tissue injuries needing physical therapy. The practice needs in-person coverage each week for two half-days; practice flexible on the days each week and can even open for afternoon slots on the weekends to accommodate the physician’s schedule. All physician specialties are welcome – training is provided and previous experience is not required. The position would be on-going with no sunset date and be a 1099 contract throughout.
About the Position:
• Position open currently; looking to place a candidate immediately
• Duration will be ongoing with no sunset dates
• Hours would be 4 hours per day, two days per week (all availabilities welcome)
• 15-20 patient evaluations per day
• Prescribing in-house physical therapy treatment when needed
• On-going treatment evaluations and end-of-treatment follow-ups performed when needed
• Typical evaluations are for soft-tissue injuries, lumbar sprain, cervical sprain, basic initial exam
• Paid training
• Paid Malpractice, Hourly compensation, and Mileage provided
Position Requirements:
• Active and unrestricted Ohio Physician License
• Active and unrestricted DEA License
