Job description

Start: As soon as credentialed
Length: Locums-to-perm
Coverage: Full-time retina clinic and surgery
Schedule: Monday–Friday clinic and surgical schedule with predictable ASC block time
Call: No hospital call; clinic call shared 1:7
Volume: Ramping to about 45–55 visits per day when fully established
Practice Setting: Established retina-only private practice with 6 fellowship-trained surgeons; practice-owned single-specialty ASC with dedicated retina room and anesthesia
Patient Population: Adults
Procedures: Vitreoretinal surgery

• Diagnosis and medical/surgical management of retinal disease
• Independent vitreoretinal surgical procedures
• Dedicated retina-trained staff, nurses, and technicians
• Physician liaison and marketing support
• Large built-in referral base from affiliated ophthalmology groups
• Documentation in ModMed (iPad-based EHR)

Requirements
• Board Certified in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship trained in Vitreoretinal Surgery (required; general ophthalmologists and other subspecialties not considered)
• Nevada license or IMLC
• DEA required
• Credentialing: approximately 3–4 months
