TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery for a permanent opportunity with a growing, academic-affiliated ophthalmology program in North Carolina.

Rotating call coverage

Practice Environment
High-volume tertiary referral center with complex ophthalmic cases
Growing multi-specialty ophthalmology program
Strong referral network from regional providers and community clinicians
Newly developing ophthalmology residency program (launching 2026)
State-of-the-art outpatient clinic located near hospital

Clinical Responsibilities
Surgical and medical management of vitreoretinal diseases
Outpatient clinic and surgical procedures
Participation in teaching and resident education
Opportunities for research and academic involvement

Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified – Ophthalmology
Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery required
