Job description
The Dentist is responsible for providing dental services for individuals
living at the Supported Living Center and certain identified individuals
living in community-based settings, including advanced dental care
and treatment to elevate the oral hygiene of all individuals. The
Dentist is responsible to implement best and safe practices in
treatment.
Provide timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our
electronic medical and dental records of the residents with intellectual
disabilities.
Written treatment plan with justification of irreversible dental
treatments.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must have good communication and organizational skills, and be able
to present information.
Experience with digital dentistry.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards
for accrediting agencies; specifically, CMS Standards, MSSLC Policy
and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules, and Directives.
- Dentist must be proficient in computers/electronic health records.
