Job description

Join a well-supported outpatient dental practice providing comprehensive general dentistry care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This is a maternity leave coverage opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and an experienced clinical support team.

Position Highlights
General Dentist locum tenens opportunity
Outpatient clinic setting
Coverage dates: September 2026 – November 2026
Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Morning team huddle begins at 7:45 AM
No call responsibilities
Adult patient population with some cooperative pediatric patients
Strong clinical and administrative support team
Clinical Scope

Providers will perform a broad range of general dentistry procedures, including:

Fillings
Crowns and bridges
Full and partial dentures
Root canals
Simple and surgical extractions
Hygiene checks
Invisalign cases
Implant placement and restoration

Providers may refer out complex cases as needed. Strong communication skills, patient education, and bedside manner are highly valued.

EMR: Dentrix
Support staff: 13 team members
Collaborative and established practice environment
WaveOne Rotary System and Invisalign experience preferred, but not required
Requirements
Active state dental license required
BLS certification required
DEA preferred, but not required
Invisalign and Nitrous Oxide certifications preferred
