Locum Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Needed for Facial Trauma Coverage – Coastal North Carolina

Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, is seeking multiple Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for locum tenens coverage. This is an urgent and ongoing need, focused on managing facial trauma and complex oral/maxillofacial conditions.

The assignment involves outpatient clinic coverage and 24-hour call shifts, with the primary need from Friday through Monday morning, plus intermittent weekday support. Providers should have extensive experience managing facial trauma, hard and soft tissue injuries, and be comfortable performing tracheostomies.

This role does not involve inpatient rounding, but it does include admissions and working closely with APPs. Providers will be expected to supervise advanced practice providers but will not be involved in teaching or resident supervision.
