An established outpatient dental clinic is seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in a supportive, well-staffed environment. This opportunity offers a steady weekday schedule, no call, and a balanced mix of restorative and denture-focused care.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Early May 2026
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Hours: Typically 9:30 AM – 3:00/5:00 PM (patient volume dependent)
No call required
Built-in lunch break

Practice Environment

Setting: Outpatient Dental Clinic
Operatories: Multiple chairs including dedicated hygiene and denture spaces
Support Staff:
1 Hygienist (midweek coverage)
2 experienced Dental Assistants
Collaborative, team-oriented workflow with strong staff familiarity

Patient Volume & Workflow

Approximately 8–15 patients per day
Mix of scheduled procedures and denture-related visits
Dedicated time blocks for:
Denture impressions and fittings
Restorative procedures
Extractions and general dental care
Hygiene checks and denture adjustments supported by staff

Scope of Work

General dentistry procedures
Extractions
Restorative care (fillings, crowns)
Denture and partial workflows (impressions, fittings, adjustments)

Requirements

Licensed General Dentist
Active state license required
