Orthopedic Surgery APP Needed

Job description

Start Date: 4/26

Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing

Shift Details: Monday-Friday

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Friday outpatient 8a-5p, Wednesday and Thursday- Surgery- Variable hours. Call 2 weeks/month 5p-8a. 2 weekends/month about 20 calls/weekend on a high volume weekend

Work Details:

Support Staff: Med assistants, front desk
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full Time
Patients per day: outpatient- 20, in-person and virtual, surgical 3-4.
Patient Population/Age: Adult-Geriatric
Department Description: Pre-op, post op for outpatient and hospital for surgical cases
EMR: EPIC
Special Procedures: Knee, hip, shoulder, total joint replacements are most common surgical cases.
Skills Required: First assist for surgeries. Injections, suture removal for outpatient.
