Orthopedic Surgeon Needed in Minnesota

Job description

Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery
Location: Buffalo, Minnesota
Contract length: 6–8 months to cover military leave
Schedule: Monday–Friday, or Monday/Tuesday/Thursday clinical days with clinic on Wednesday and administrative responsibilities on Friday. Hours are approximately 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with morning rounding and occasional weekend coverage. Optional overnight call may also be available.

Work Details:
• Provide orthopedic surgical care, including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and procedures involving the foot/ankle, shoulder, knee, hip, hand/wrist, and general orthopedics
• See approximately 20–25 patients per clinic day
• Treat primarily teenage and adult orthopedic patients
• Perform casting, splinting, DME applications, and joint injections
• Provide inpatient rounding and support within a 34-bed hospital
• Work with one clinical support staff member on clinic days
• Use EPIC Excellian EMR
