Job description

Orthopedic Surgery PA Needed in CA:
Start Date: 4/27/26
Contract Length: 6 months with the option to extend
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Friday (outpatient) 8am-5pm. Wednesday and Thursday (surgery) Variable hours.
Call 2 weeks/month, 5pm-8am. 2 weekends/month about 20 calls/weekend on a high volume weekend
Work details:
• Support Staff: Medical assistants, front desk
• Patients per day: outpatient- 20, in-person and virtual, surgical 3-4.
• Patient Population/Age: Adult-Geriatric
• Department Description: Pre-op, post op for outpatient and hospital for surgical cases
• EMR: EPIC
• Special Procedures: Knee, hip, shoulder, total joint replacements are most common surgical cases.
Skills Required: First assist for surgeries. Injections, suture removal for outpatient.

CA License Required (We can help license you)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
