Orthopedic Surgery APP needed in California

Job description

Opportunity Highlights:

Balanced schedule with clinic, OR, and call

Ongoing assignment with full-time hours

Strong surgical experience with first assist opportunities

Start Date: June 18, 2026
End Date: Ongoing

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: Clinic (8am–5pm)

Friday: OR time (7:30am–3pm/5pm) or clinic/admin if no cases

Call: 5–7 days per month (includes nights and 24-hour weekend call)

Work Details:

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Patients per day: 20–22

Trauma Level: 3

EMR: Epic

Support staff available

Responsibilities include clinic coverage and assisting in orthopedic surgeries

Requirements:

Board Certified PA/NP

Active California license required

DEA required

Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based orthopedic experience (trauma preferred)

BLS required

Credentialing: ~90 days
